Speckle Reduction in Phase extracted from off-axis Digital Holography with Transport of Intensity

Abstract

A method for speckle noise suppression to improve the accuracy during phase retrieval is proposed. This utilizes a series of decorrelated holograms by simultaneously varying the linear polarization state of the object and reference beams.
