Abstract

We demonstrate a DAC/ADC-free 65536-level quantum noise stream cipher communication with asynchronous clock over 70-km SMF using delta-sigma modulation. Adjusting the oversampling rates of delta-sigma modulation can achieve flexible adjustment of security, stability, and cost.
