Abstract

Closed-form expressions for longitudinal power profile estimation methods (correlation and MMSE) are derived. Findings indicate that the spatial resolution of correlation methods is inherently limited even in noise-less and distortion-less conditions, while MMSE methods do not suffer from such limitation.
