Abstract

We demonstrate a photonics-aided THz-wireless transmission over 4.6 km free space by plano-convex lenses. The use of plano-convex lenses greatly extends the wireless transmission distance. Advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms improve the spectral efficiency of the system.
