Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the integration of a 1.25 Gb/s FSO data channel in a FM-CW LiDAR and evaluate the sensing vs. comms performance trade-off when making the data channel robust to receiver misalignment through an expanded, fan-shaped LiDAR beam.
