Abstract
We demonstrate an ultra-broadband dual-polarization mode-order converter using subwavelength gratings. The device with 1dB bandwidth over 380nm is achieved in simulation. The fabricated device has low insertion loss (<1.59dB), low crosstalk (<-15.6dB), and 1dB bandwidth exceeds 80nm which is larger than the reported highest level.
