Abstract

We report here the results of the study of the superradiance (SR) dynamics of a medium containing the two different types of the resonant atoms. We show that the SR pulse shape depends on the component concentrations and active volume length, and, by varying them, we can transform the long pumping pulse into the ultrashort SR pulse. We discuss the different possibilities of SR pulse parameter control which appeared in the two-component media.
