Abstract

Over the last decades, semiconductor lasers with delayed optical feedback (DOF) have been an object of intense research. For low feedback levels, a considerable reduction in linewidth is achieved by applying DOF, while for higher feedback levels, a wealth of dynamical phenomena arises (for a recent review, see [1]).
