Scanning Tunneling Spectroscopy of Deposited Metal Clusters

Abstract

Scanning tunneling spectroscopy on metal clusters deposited from a beam reveals the existence of distinct quantizations in their electrical conductivity. The results will be interpreted by a quantum size effect in these metallic quantum dots’.
