Abstract
Fast collisional energy transfer (CET) is one of the most important processes that hinder bound selected reactions of polyatomic molecules. The nature of CET for polyatomic molecules not been clearly understood up to the present. The phenomenon in question is nature of supercollisions which transfer large quantities of energy in a single gas–phase collision. The aim of the present work is to study die influence of the nature of vibrational relaxation processes; vibration–vibration (V–V) or vibration-translation (V–T) transfers on energy transfer quantities in mixtures of benzophenone or acetophenone deluted with bath gases: He, Ar, Xe, C2H4, SF6, C5H12.
