Abstract

The unique optical properties of atomic gases have manifold applications in sensing, frequency and time referencing, quantum optics and non-linear optics. Here we will discuss the status of our efforts to integrate Alkali vapours with various optical systems as a) SiN-waveguides, b) hollow core crystal fibres and c) electrically contacted vapour cells.
