Engineering isotropic aperiodic structures for lensless imaging systems

Abstract

We design novel diffractive devices for lensless imaging systems with point- spread-functions based on isotropic structures and hyperuniform random fields. We demon- strate 35% bandwidth enhancement in compared to devices based on the Perlin noise.
