A broad-band robustly single-mode hollow-core PCF by resonant filtering of higher order modes

Abstract

A new design of single-ring hollow-core PCF robustly transmits only the LP01 mode in multiple, broad-band, windows of low-loss. These desirable features are scalable and depend solely on one dimensionless, analytically derived, geometrical parameter.
