Identification of optimum transforms for evaluating perceptual image quality scores using objective metrics

Abstract

Regression models for conversion of objective quality metrics to perceptual scores are identified. These models depend on the distortion type present in the image, and an ensemble of metrics is best suited for overall evaluation.
