Simultaneously Sorting Overlapping Quantum States of Light

Abstract

We use a multi-plane light converter (MPLC) to sort non-orthogonal states of light encoded in dimensions ranging from d=3 to d=7 using unambiguous state discrimination. We also use this framework to accurately classify overlapping images.
