Thermal Emission of Phononic Hyperbolic Material in the Mid-Infrared Region

Abstract

Phononic hyperbolicity of hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN) holds promise for advanced applications in optics. In this study, we experimentally investigate the thermal emission of hBN within two hyperbolic regions in the mid-infrared range.
