Fresnel zone plate metalens based on silicon subwavelength grating engineering

Abstract

Compact metalenses have been demonstrated with the ability to perform high-efficiency focusing. In this work, we present the design of a silicon-on-insulator-compatible metalens that focuses 1550 nm light with a peak efficiency of 42.7%.
