Nonlinear multi-resonant cavity QED gyroscope

Abstract

A novel design of nonlinear multi-resonant quantum light gyroscope that combines quantum correlations, nonlinear three-wave mixing and non-inertial sensing on the same resonator is proposed and theoretically analyzed. The theoretical sensitivity under the fundamental quantum noise limit was estimated at various schemes of the injection light by maximizing the Fisher Information by Bayesian optimization. > 900 X sensitivity enhancement over standard shot-noise limited linear gyroscope with the same footprint, intrinsic quality factor and power budget has been demonstrated.
