A Framework for Constructing an Image Sensor Based Random Number Generators

Abstract

This work proposes a framework for determining and setting up a random number generators based on spontaneous emission and photon absorption using commercial off-the-shelf complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor image sensors and Light Emitting Diodes.
