Abstract

In spite of change of the luminescence spectra during the illumination of light for the spectral measurement of the bacteriorhodopsin, most reports failed to notice this change. We have made the change clear and propose a new model for the luminescence species. Trans-bacteriorhodopsin is refered as T-bR.
