Abstract

In order to restrain the Brillouin scattering and increase the gain of the stimulated Raman scattering, the picosecond pulse train from the frequency doubled and mode-locked YAG laser with the repitition of 10-20 Hz was injected to a P2O5-GeO2-SiO2 glass fiber with the length of 20 meters. In the wave length region from 0.45μm to 1.00μm, the transient stimulated Raman scattering with the conservation effectivity higher than 50 petcent has been obtained.
