Abstract
In CaO, Ni2+ impurity ions replace Ca2+ ions at sites of octahedral symmetry and give rise to several crystal field bands each with considerable vibronic structure.1,2 In this work the influence of hydrostatic pressure on the structure of two of these bands has been investigated.
