Abstract

We report a process and material for fabricating patterned channel optical waveguides on conventional high speed electronics printed circuit cards. These waveguide structures were conceived as a means for achieving photonic clock or data distribution on printed circuit boards in very high (500mb/s< B <10Gb/s) synchronous systems.
