Abstract

In this paper, we present a new method for measuring the parameters of parallel coupled waveguides. Basically the method consists of observation of the inter action length dependance of the coupling via radiation pattern measurements; the radiation patterns are obtained by moving a high refractive index coupling prism along the coupled guides.
