Abstract

Different techniques can be used to restore turbulence degraded images. One approach is to use the speckle interferometry technique to determine the modulus of the object Fourier transform and the algorithm suggested by Knox and Thomson [1] to retrieve the phase. The quality of the restoration depends strongly on the accuracy of the phase determination.
