Abstract

We report on organic polymeric materials designed for electro-optic waveguide device fabrication and a fabrication method for integrated-optical devices We have developed polymers and poling procedures that produce electro-optic tensor elements as large as 38 pm/V at 1.3 μm (98 pm/V at 632 nm).
