Abstract

The behavior of DBR, DFB, and other diode lasers with a complex cavity structure is not always fully understood and cannot always be modeled accurately by simple analytic or numeric models.1,2 Therefore we developed a new diode-laser computer model, compound cavity laser diode simulation software -CLADISS- within the framework of the European RACE-1010 (CMC) project.
