Abstract

Numerous different integrated optic lens structures have been developed.1-4 Many of them have poor off-axis performance or fabrication difficulties. We have developed a new structure that has exceptional off-axis performance and is capable of realizing near-diffraction-limited performance at large numerical aperture. Some preliminary results of this new structure have been reported.5 In this paper we present the most recent results.
