Analysis of pulse propagation in an optical fiber using a time-domain BPM with Pade approximants in the time axis

Abstract

A Pade (2,2) approximant is applied to the time axis in the time-domain beam propagation method for the analysis of a three-dimensional optical waveguide. The fourth-order accuracy in time is obtained.
