Abstract

We review and discuss InP-based monolithically integrated optical devices, such as dual-polarization In-phase and Quadrature modulators and photodetectors integrated with the 90 hybrid for 100/200 Gb/s coherent transceivers with a small footprint and low-power dissipation.
