Abstract
A tunable laser with its lasing wavelength tuned by the electro-optic effect was developed. In addition to a low-tuning power dissipation and narrow linewidth, the laser exhibits a nanosecond-scale wavelength switching time, which will contribute to next-generation optical systems using dynamically controlled laser wavelengths.
