Abstract

High energy or high power laser pulses are often not suitable for studies of elementary excitations. More ideal is the use of weak but highly repetitive pulses. We have made this type of approach for spectroscopies of the excitons in CuCl, the excitons of which are known to have a simple electronic structure and to compose typical polaritons and biexcitons.
