Abstract
The spatial resolution of the transient absorption spectroscopy is indispensable for analyzing photochemical and photophysical dynamics in inhomogeneous systems. In this paper, we present a new method of transient absorption spectroscopy utilizing a microscope and a laser trapping technique.[1,2] The dynamics of photochemical reactions in minute solid materials and Brownian particles can be measured with a few μm and 150-fs time resolutions.
