Abstract
The growing interest in all optical switching and high speed optoelectronics has promoted the search for new organic materials with large non-linear optical susceptibilities and fast time response. A promising class of organic materials is represented by thiophene-based polymers since they are chemically stable and easily processable. The optical properties of these compounds have not yet been fully investigated and a few measurements of excited state relaxation dynamics after photoexcitation have been so far reported [1-3].
