Abstract

Optical waves propagating through disordered media show large fluctuations known as speckle patterns. From fundamental point of view, various correlations that develop in speckles are of interest in recent research concerning wave propagation through disordered systems[1]. They are used in the research of photon localization[2] and are closely related to the universal conductance fluctuations.
