Abstract

Although hyperfine structures (hfs) of 139La have been studied for a long time, because of the complicated nature of the atomic spectra and the experimental difficulties, hfs data of l39La are far from complete. This paper reports the results of Doppler-limited laser optogalvanic spectroscopic (LOGS) studies conducted on some of the allowed transitions of l39La.
