Abstract
The Ramsey resonance method using the separated oscillatory field is well known as a way to remove transit time broadening and to approach natural linewidth. Furthermore, Ramsey pointed out that the difficulty of obtaining sufficient power to induce adequate transition probability can be overcome by using a large number of successive pulses.[1] The Multi-separated-field excitation was investigated in the optical domain, theoretically and experimentally.
