Abstract

Recently, in part due to the surging interest in quantum information, interest has focused on non-conjugate observables with a discrete, and often finite, eigenvalue spectrum. The simplest example of such a system is a spin 1/2 system which is a model system for a qubit. For such a system, a simultaneous uncertainty relation was recently derived1.
