Abstract
Since the observation of transparent light at line center,1 many researchers have studied basic physic of such phenomenon by using atomic gases,2,3 defected crystals,4 and semiconductor quantum wells5 Recently the observations of several nonlinear optical processes in solids6 open the door to practical applications of optical memories, coherence spectroscopy, and lasers without inversion. In the present paper, a new concept of quantum switching is discussed.
