Abstract

We show that cavity solitons can be formed in the transverse plane of an optical resonator with plane-mirrors containing a nonlinear χ(3) medium, driven by an homogeneous linearly polarized coherent field E. The adimensional mean-field limit model equations for the two intracavity field polarization components A0 and A1 parallel and orthogonal to the input field E respectively, read [1]
