Abstract

In 1974, Rein suggested that a difference between energy levels of right and lefthanded chiral molecules could be induced by neutral weak interactions. Its experimental manifestation could be a frequency difference between the rovibrational spectra of the enantiomers of a chiral molecule, as proposed by Letokhov.
