Material classification of Printed Circuit Board by Polarization Photography

Abstract

The paper proposes a practical solution based on four-phase polarization photography to classify the dielectric material parts and metallic component parts of printed circuit board (PCB). The experimental results show that polarization images can effectively classify the dielectric material parts and preserve the metallic parts.
