Abstract

Small size and large storage capacity optical video disk recorder has been developed. The recorder has a memory capacity of 10.4 Gbytes for both sides of a 12cm_ϕ phase change disk. It can record video signal compressed to 25Mbps in intra-frame fixed length coding, 2-channel audio signal, and user data. Specifications are shown in Table 1.
