Abstract

COVID-19 has brought about various changes in everyone's lives. Wearing a mask is an important step in preventing virus spread. Despite the fact that many people are still not taking the necessary precautions. It has been difficult to manually identify people who are not wearing masks in public places. This system would be extremely useful in airports, railway stations, colleges, schools, and other public places. Using a deep learning algorithm, the system detects whether or not a person is wearing a mask. For mask detection, the CNN deep learning algorithm is used. The person is only allowed into the room if the face mask is detected by the automatic door locking system. The permitted person should then sanitize their hands using an automatic hand sanitization system based on an Arduino and an ultrasonic sensor. As a result, the system provides a completely automated system for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
