Abstract

Phase modulator is a widely used device in the field of photonic integrated circuits. Researchers have been intensely working on designing the best phase modulator. In this paper, phase modulator has been designed using two different waveguides - rectangular waveguide and slot waveguide [1]. Besides, a comparative analysis has been provided to conclude the best waveguide for phase modulation.
