Abstract

We present an alternative way to generate multiple ultrashort solitons through the propagation of fs-Gaussian pulses, under normal dispersion, in a 1-D stack material consisting of self-focusing followed by a defocusing nonlinearity media. The spectral and temporal solitonic evolutions are numerically presented.
