Light Trapping and Thermodynamic Processes in Photovoltaics

Abstract

This talk will first discuss experimental progress on light-trapping in crystalline silicon thin films with nanostructured surfaces and fabrication of solar cells on such thin films, followed by discussion of thermodynamic processes in photovoltaics.
