Photonics Enabled Real-time Spectrogram for Continuous Signal Processing

Abstract

We demonstrate the real-time and gapless computation of the spectrogram of a signal with ultrashort transients of 640 ps using only optical transformations. This demonstrates the applicability to continuous signals without information loss.
