Not Accessible

Abstract

This review seeks to assemble the methodologies and results of recent (1978-1981) studies of how people see a vista. The information is needed by federal and state personnel who are preparing regulations to protect visibility, required by the 1977 Clean Air Act Amendments. Some of this information may be helpful to those studying sky color, shadows, scattering and other topics in meteorological optics.
