Improving Axial Resolution of Optical Stimulation in Two-Photon Optogenetics by Beaded-Ring Pattern

Abstract

We propose to imporove axial resolution of holographic optogenetic stimulation by the novel beaded-ring pattern, and demonstrate ~30% improvement in stimulating neurons in mouse S1 cortex in vivo compared with conventioanl methods.
